  • Meghan Markle has given up on rebranding her canceled Archetypes podcast, suggesting she may be focusing on new projects.
  • One of those projects is rumored to be a memoir, which is expected to be a lucrative endeavor for her.
  • There are also speculations that Meghan may re-join Instagram to rebrand herself and potentially earn significant income through sponsored posts.

Meghan Markle lost her million-dollar deal with Spotify months ago, but up until recently, the Suits star was trying to rebrand her Archetypes podcast in hopes of saving it. But it appears that Meghan has thrown in the towel. Last June, the news of Meghan’s award-winning podcast Archetypes being canceled after just one season left many fans both shocked and bewildered.

Nevertheless, in the wake of this announcement, there were reports from insiders suggesting that she was actively exploring new platforms to continue streaming the show, which were said to be a key component of her rebranding strategy.

Following the cancelation, there were reports that Archewell had begun the process of reviving its trademark application for the Archetypes podcast title with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

However, after an extensive 17-month endeavor to secure the trademark protection, Meghan recently decided to withdraw the application, as reported by Daily Mail. This seems to suggest that Meghan has given up hope of re-launching the podcast, and is likely focusing her attention on something new.

One of those big projects is likely her memoir. It was reported earlier this year in January that Meghan is planning to release an autobiography, just like her husband Prince Harry did with the release of Spare the same month.

One source told Daily Mail earlier this month that Meghan is in the thick of writing. “My information is that she is writing her memoirs and it will be a huge money-spinner,” the informant, royal expert and author Tom Bower, said.

There’s also been speculation that Meghan may re-join Instagram in hopes of rebranding herself as well as bringing in new income for her family.

At the start of this month, several reports suggested it’s a possibility that Meghan might be associated with a newly created Instagram account with the handle @meghan. Despite the absence of any posts or a visible profile picture, the account has already amassed a following of over 100,000 users.

"Yes, that's her. Anticipate an imminent announcement. She's making a return," a source informed Daily Mail, “Everyone in Hollywood is talking about the re-launch being imminent. Meghan has never made any secret of the fact she wants to return to Instagram.”

It's speculated that Meghan could make up to $1 million per sponsored post on social media, which could be enticing to her amid reports that she’s having financial and martial problems with Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s combined net worth is reportedly $60 million.
